Calgary from roof of downtown building

These were taken from the roof of a 30 story condo building downtown. In every direction you can see cranes and construction sites, a testament to the energy boom currently experienced in the city.

1. looking southeast

2. South South east
[

3. South - East Beltline District

4. Southwest

5. West

6. West - Bow construction site

7. Northwest

8. North

9. Northeast

10. East

11. South overlooking Olympic Plaza

I love the view, these are great pics, and I'm glad you posted them in a photo thread.

Nice shots. Cool perspective.

There really is a lot of empty land to fill at the east end of downtown. With what is happening I can't wait to see what it looks like in 10 years.

Nice shots. I'd love to see what theose same shots look like now, with all the changes in the last two years.

Some one get on the roof of Rocky Mountain Plaza, a 2 year later set of pictures would be cool. I would get up there if I had a decent camera.

To think those shots are only two years ago, and today they would be completely different in every direction. Amazing!

I live in Rocky Mountain Court... but only for a few more weeks. I bought myself a condo in the Beltline.

I'll make sure to grab some last pics of the Bow site as well as some rooftop shots before I move out.

I'm gonna miss seeing the The Bow come together every morning as I have my morning coffee.
