Really? I guess it depends on the angle, but it definitely looks tall in any case. It's not like a near 1,200 foot building, with no vanity height shouldn't look really tall.

Upon completion it may still make top 50 (or almost) globally in roof height looking at the current world U/C diagrams

In photos or in person? I was there in Nov 2018 when Vista was ~7 floors shorter than it is now, and thought it looked shorter than what I had expected for a building that was probably around 1050 ft tall.

That may explain it. Back in Nov I saw Vista from just a couple of angles, which could have been ones that made it look short. I will be in Chicago again this coming April and will definitely look at Vista more closely. By then it will not only have topped out but also will have a lot more glass installed.

What a photo. Very few captures the Chicago skyline like Cozy. Keep the photos coming, Vista, and NEMA really adds to the greatness of the Chicago skyline.

Wow, wonderful skyline shots Bono. It seems that with a growing skyline like Chicagos, it is hard to find a location that is not impressive. I was driving on the Stevenson Friday afternoon, and where it intersects with the Dan Ryan going south toward Indiana. I saw a skyline view highlighted by Nema and Vista so imposing, I wanted to stop on the freeway there and take a panoramic photo. .Thank God my wife said, I knew you were crazy, but not insane, lol. But my question is, what is the best type of camera to buy for capturing moving shots of the skyline.

This is an extremely loaded question. Paging vexxed. Also Harry, his zoomed in shots are always superb quality.

For shooting while driving I use a Panasonic DMC, a high end point and shoot. To get real nice shots I have one of the kids drive and use a Rebel on sport setting.

Thanks Harry, with the Chicago skyline changing so rapidly, this is a good time for me to make that investment.
