The appeal is supposed to be heard today. Not sure of the results if it's already happened.

Looks like the hearing was rescheduled to 10/13.

Ugh yeah the 38 foot height restriction along Girard Ave to "retain the character" of other nearby areas is exactly the same thing I thought of. Keeping an eye on this stuff is so refreshing when good projects do get built yet so maddening when stuff like this happens.

I'd be shocked if he ran again tbh, I think he retires instead since he'll be 71 by the next election.

So, a long overdue update.
In January of this year, it looks like the zoning permits necessary to build this were… granted?

It reads really weirdly in Atlas but I think it’s safe to say that this isn’t dead yet.

Edit: they're showing up on my phone but not on my laptop at work. Weird.
