Here's the filing for the updated plan for River Park. It was filed in November, and I have been waiting for some new info to be added to it. But the Statesman and Community Impact have the latest news.

X-posting deerhoof's post from the SE Austin/Riverside thread because of the higher quality rendering...

Genuinely curious why this project comes up very 6-12 months without any action of the developers end. How long ago was "Project Catalyst" announced and they've not turned dirt on one thing.

I moved/deleted some posts related to this project because they were being posted in three different threads.

The BRT line should be up and running in under 3 years. I kinda wish the PV BRT went to Springdale though instead of Airport but I understand it's way better to connect it to Muller than a N/S east side line.

Yup thats my HEB and I tend to try and avoid it. Either they need a new location or make that one another 3 story store.

I'd love to see one of those interior buildings go away and be replaced with a central open space/park. I know it's got both the creek and the Guerrero lakeshore park for greenspace, but it needs a public spot in the center to draw the internal crowds.

With the Blue Line now approved, why are they keeping the height at 160? It should be increased to 300 at least. Downtown Austin is sort of running out of lots already - what will it be like in 10 years?

Riverpark South - Block D just hit for site plan. This is the block along Riverside Drive and bounded by Wickerham and Crossing Place. Where "Tempo at Riverside" apartments are located.

There's a shit ton of mundane Riverpark South development info attached to that site plan.

Section D is ~15 acres and the site 252 apartments that will be demo-ed and replaced with 753 apartments.

Section D:

Rescuing this thread from the third page. Any updates on this one? Seemed pretty close to moving forward but haven't heard any news on it over the past year.

I checked the city website and it seems to be working its way through the process on an F1 permit. It was resubmitted on May 19, 2022 and the most recent update was 10/06/22.
