Is that lighting in the night renderings? If so, that will add a nice touch. Especially if it changes color and isn't just white.

I always felt like the lines on the glass would be LED lights... but the rainbow colors of the elevators in the parking garage is a wonderful addition to the night scene

Didn't even see the elevator shaft lighting until now lol. Okay I definitely like that and would placate me regarding the parking podium. That will make for a nice touch.

I'm skeptical that the elevator shaft will be lit up in that rainbow format all the time. Or even that often.

I guess I am glad that the parking podium will mostly be hidden from this view while the V shaped lighting will be visible. Hopefully, they can do some different colors with that, too.

Still a Tooth-on-a-Pedestal. There's ways to be clever and attractive with strong contrasting architectural styles within the same building footprint, but this ain't it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, however (or beer holder?)

Doesn't look as orange as I thought it would. Looks more burnt orange. Not bad.

Let me think of something positive to say about it. Um... um... Oh!: Every city needs a weird building.

I think it is supposed to be terracotta (like plant pots), but is probably actually a metal panel.

Right on both ends. Certainly not orange or burnt orange, and the material used to make planters would eventually crack like most of mine have. I do like their color choice for sure. It also looks like the garage section is open slotted and so they won't need mechanical ventilation, or very little if that. But this shows you can open vent without compromising aesthetics too much. There still seems to be mixed opinions about the design, but there is one certainty, it looks like they are putting a lot of quality into it. I used to be glad that it really won't be visible from most of my favorite vantage points, you probably have to turn the corner to get a good look at it, but now I kind of wish it was in a more prominent location where you can see it from all angles from a short distance. It should have a different look from all sides. I'm thinking the lights in the stairwells are just a reflection of the outside, with the sunset reflecting the upper part. I'm expecting more of a whitish lighting of them because they have to be well lit in the event that they need to be used during an evacuation, but I hope I am wrong.

Speaking of rainbow lights, did they ever paint the crosswalks?

No, and I personally would like to see them painted. But it is what it is.

Interesting. Thanks for posting the photos! I’ve always been on board with this one and waiting to see the finished product. This looks a lot more opaque and turquoise than the renderings indicated. I personally think it’s trending toward being a solid addition to the skyline and there are bigger buildings that will eclipse it in the skyline anyway.

Yeah, this looks good to me. I like that it isn't just another blue box. The shape, those setbacks and the accents.

Unfortunately, almost the entire north side of the building will be a blank orange wall. But, the other faces of the tower are going to look very interesting. The angles look more prominent than I was expecting.

North will eventually be blocked by 5C, no?
