It might be because I'm at work now, but I'm getting new error message now

Network Error (tcp_error)

A communication error occurred: "Connection refused"
The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.

For assistance, contact your network support team.

Damn right I want to try again later, duh!

Still down - what the heck is going on over there...

It's worse now than it has been for years

You have to go back to when there was no commercial funding or hired server help for such bad conditions - I thought this should be a thing of the past

they need to shut SSC down and keep it shut down until they resolve what ever is going on rather than this up and down insanity.

^^ I agree. I would much rather they like shut down the site for a week or so, take care of everything, and then reopen it. It would be better than this every other page I load 500 error bullshit. I don't post here nearly as often as I do on SSC, but I'm considering. The Polish forum is was really keeps me going back there.

True.

And yeah, try SSP while SSC is down, problem is that 90% of the threads is concerning USA and Canada, SSC is so much more international, best forum there is! Always, the better the bigger problem!

If you want a new regional to work out here it would require 10-15 locals posting on a regular basis.

Projects & Construction sections here are international, but all the threads are in English.

A Nordic section could be cool, but I only think we are 5 or 6 regular users..

Yeah, but would probably increase if a section were made. Same as other sections.

That will give more forumers from the whole world posting more international threads in the main forums as well, since SSP's main forums such as the high-rise forums is also dominated by more or less only USA/Canadian projects. But then, i am pretty sure SSP will be blamed to copy SSC as a few other forums have been...
