Help: How do you use bbCode properly to display an image from Flickr?

I wish I had a good camera and the know-how to shoot like most of you guys

How do you use bbCode properly to display an image from Flickr?
The website basically states no direct linking to the image.

Thanks in advance,
/functionallyretarded

Have you checked SSP's Image Posting Guide?

Ayreonaut, I've read that before but thanks for trying.

I know how to directly link to the image but I'm referring to the way in which I would link to an image that doesn't go against Flickr's guidelines.

"Remember! Flickr Community Guidelines specify that if you post a Flickr photo on an external website, the photo must link back to its photo page. (So, use Option 1.)"

Option 1 is a jumble of html
Option 2 is direct link to the image

I think I understand.

Select "grab the HTML" then select a size. Highlight the part within quotations that ends with .jpg, then post that within the [img] tags. To properly cite the source just post a link to the photo page itself.

And now to demonstrate, I will shamelessly whore out my own photo.

Source

Then again, maybe I completely missed what you were trying to ask.

I think what you want is:

[ URL="http://LINKTOPHOTOPAGE"][ IMG]http://LINKTOIMAGE.jpg[ /IMG]
Source[ /URL]

which gives for example:

That's what I usually do actually, except then I don't keep "source" below the photo.

I switched back to the old school Flickr format. The new one isn't user friendly at all. I found it very confusing and I couldn't figure out how to get my list of tags to add to pictures.
It is easier to copy and paste the URL to SSP the old way too.
