A few pics of Kaslo, BC. A small town of just under 1000 inhabitants about a 45 minute drive out of Nelson.

I was there during the Jazz festival.

Some shots up the main drag. A couple really nice craft breweries here.

That looks like an awesome place to check out! Thanks man

The Bow River as it passes through downtown Calgary. Floating down the river(s) - in one form or another - in the summer is one of the most popular passtimes around here.

I remember seeing the "city hall" in Kaslo in the '80s when it was abandoned and falling apart. It's nice to see the building saved.

Thanks guys!

Those river pics look pretty fun as well.

Never knew that about the city hall. The small towns of the Kootenays and now the Boundary District have really been going through a renascence.

Lots of cute active towns to explore.

Who do I talk to about getting Calgary summers extended by a couple extra months? Let's make it happen!

A rare decent photo of the Anglican cathedral in Halifax. It was supposed to have a central tower that was never built; you can see that pretty clearly from this angle.

Similar to the cathedral in St. John's, which is much older, and where the tower was also never built. This is a nice building but unfortunately not very prominently sited in the city.

Is that the HMS Queen Elizabeth in the background? That is one beautiful ship. The first dual-island aircraft carrier design to be introduced. The largest battleships ever in the British Empire and Commonwealth.

Yes, I think so. It visited Halifax a few weeks ago.

The HMS Queen Elizabeth paired with Cunard's Queen Mary 2? How appropriate!
