I did (or do) have some expectation of a curved pane of glass like these \/ Like you say, maybe in the highly curved area there will be.
Agreed.
I don't see the faceting on the concrete slab in the highly curved areas, whereas there is faceting on the slab where the flat panes have been installed.
I'm not too sure either. There is a lot going on - which could be OK if done very well - but, it needed a bit more finesse in shaping a balanced set of forms that work to a stronger overall form.
But, it isn't terrible either. It will become an interesting background tower: it will be the start of a new generation of decent background towers at a new height standard.
Don't know if it was posted before but apparently, they messed up with the concrete on the exposed grid facade; apparently, it was supposed to be decorative grade concrete to be left raw similar to 432 Park Ave in New York but it's not happening anymore.
They're going to paint on top of it apparently and the folks at Reliance aren't happy

I wonder what colour they'll use ... and how the whole effect will turn out.
The more it's getting closer to finished, the more I am not sure. It is getting overly complicated and messy and too asymmetrical for my taste.
Agreed.
All it needs is a few extruded boxes.
The kitchen sink.
