Thanks everyone. I’m gonna try to get more aerial shots of the skyline tonight after the sun goes down.

The 2nd to last shot and remembering that they didn't never wanted the Capitol building to become obscured makes me think they need a bigger Capitol building lol.

Honestly, never did I think that in my lifetime I would see a city explode into such a higher level of existence as I have seen this city boom. It makes me grateful to be alive to witness. Now I hope I get to see a few more American towns surge onto the scene like this in the future. It's fun to predict which ones will be next.

G-man your photo update is all-encompassing and very appreciated.

I mean honestly I grew up in a small town in the Midwest. The growth of Austin is outrageous. The only other cities I know of going through this are Seattle, NYC, and Chicago.

AWESOME Ariel pics G-Man! Austin’s scale is just amazing! I particularly enjoy the one where The Independent is center. It is so weird to think of that view just a little over 5 years ago as really just fields. Greenwater, Seaholm, The Independent, 5th & West, and the Bowie all weren’t there. Or at the very least, were simply under construction.

I’ve added some more posts/photos to my AustinGoesVertical Instagram page over the last couple days, and some more in the last hour... wish there was an easy way to port them onto here. The Instagram share/embed does not fit well with SSP. If anyone has cracked that code, let me know haha.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I didn’t have time to take night drone shots unfortunately. Hopefully I will visit again soon and get them that next time.

Charlotte is on a tear right now too. The skyline growth that both cities are going through right now is insane. And don’t even get me started on Seattle. That’s like America’s version of Dubai. Lol. Glad I made the trip to Austin. It was definitely worth it.

Amazing pics G-Man! I'm really impressed with the angles of each of them. I especially like that 2nd pic. I also think that pic would look great in black and white. Just something about it, probably the lighting.

Elvis has left the building!! Thanks for all the great shots of Austin and ABIA. Many of those will be backgrounds on my laptop. Looking forward to your encore when you return, mystery visitor. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

You might be able to see one or both of the Hanovers here, too.

It's crazy that this needs another 4 or more major towers to be complete.
