It's really a joy to come around the bend in Wacker Drive and see 300 N. LaSalle, Trump, and Waterview making this scene so much more complete.
....wait until this time next year !

Happy New Year

May this tower continue to rise into the Chicago Skyline, and finally gain the respect that it truly deserves.

I'm dissapointed they havent started the facade yet on this baby. They were supposed to have started it in early December. I cant say the weather has been most accomodating this fall/winter so far.

It has been started, in December, just no glass yet. They have installed the curtain rods for the curtain wall

Is there any chance someone could record this talk, and transcribe it or post it here? I'd love to hear that discussion.

I have added Waterview, Trump, the spire the Arquitectonica building, aqua, and Waldorf=Astorria as well as increased the height of bcbs.

It wasn't until I was increasing the height of bcbs that I realized 340 on the park was missing - too late - sorry.

BEAUTIFUL future skyline scene. This is actually the best one I've seen yet, even w/o 340 OTP. Good job.

Ryan, that is really excellent. Very believable. I think you should repost in the Boom rundown if you haven't yet.

LOL, oops! Still, I hope we have at least one forumer that will attend this tomorrow evening and fill us in on the details! If only my girlfriend cared, I would love to go to this event with her! Drinks, dinner, then a discussion about one of Chicago's best skyscrapers as a work in progress? This sounds like the ideal date, if only my girlfriend would treat me to this as a birthday gift! Nothing better than a skyscraper erection...

Anyway, this tower is looking good. It seems like we should be seeing some glass soon! Or will the parking garage be shrouded in something other than glass? In any case, the time is ripe for seeing the real facade of lower Waterview Tower.

Well, the meeting is about structural issues not financing, so I won't be asking that question.

I am going too, but only to the program portion, not the dinner portion. I only have to pay $10 for this. Just call ahead, and pay at the door (that's what I was told).
