It looks amazing from every angle.
Perhaps, in the future, it can be accompanied by a taller friend.

Why does the glass on top look weird? Like they're using different types of glass and ran out of the glass they used for the rest of the building!

I think it's just not done. Maybe they just wanted to get the envelope done to work on the interior and because the pieces are custom they have to wait a bit for them to finish manufacturing the specific tint glass and metal panels. Have to wait a few months typically for them to go through and finish everything.

I can only hope, as having matching glass would make this an otherwise spectacular building!!

Any word on light-up scheme of the upper portions? This masterpiece begs to be showcased day and night!

I really do hope they fix the glass at the top. Its distracting for an otherwise outstanding building.

by me from Top of the Rock

it would be prominent in the skyline if it were not by CPT and Steinway, their proximity to Central Park adds to it, since they are 5 blocks closer than Verre

the scaffolding keeps coming down, but can someone say, what are they still hauling up and down to keep the middle of the building open like that?

man I just noticed that, and how the angled steel abruptly ends. Too bad they couldn't have designed that a little better. That weird glass really detracts from the top and overall design of the tower
