I'm sure she is just using poetic license here, or is there a road out of town I have not yet taken?

I was thinking the same thing... later in that paragraph she said she was en route to Wanuskewin...? So maybe she's thinking of Northgate motel area? (I suppose to someone from a huge urban agglomeration that would seem like it's past the outskirts of the actual city?)

Nutrien officially announced as main tenant of the River Landing office tower. It will be occupying 8 floors of the building, which will be known as 'Nutrien Tower'. Great news for the city and province that the merged company will be maintaining a strong local presence going forward, and not merely through corporate sponsorships.

Is Nutrien moving into the second office tower, not under construction yet at the north end of the project, or the first tower, under construction now, at the east end of the project. I'm just dense enough to be unsure which building it will be in.

Nutrien will be in the North Tower, the taller one not yet under construction.

This is huge news.

Edit: Oops... in my excitement I posted this to the wrong thread. Close enough though.

Can't wait to come visit and check out all the new developments soon! Though I am glad to be back in Regina, I do miss Saskatoon's downtown and I am glad its getting even better! About Sask's new tallest building, those must be some high ceilings if its only going to be 18 stories!

I think some media misquoted. I believe it is just the tallest office building.

I posted this in the RT thread as well, but since it also contains substantial updates regarding the Active Transit plan I will link it here too. The City has posted the agenda ahead of the special governance and priorities meeting happening on Wednesday. It contains several reports related to both the BRT plan, and active transit plan.

Parcel Y reminds me of the Husky office in Lloydminster - one shiny building (3 in Saskatoon) surrounded by otherwise meh.

Agreed. Parcel Y's 18, 20, 17, and 13 story towers next to a swim and boat friendly river with developed walkways featuring joni mitchel promenade and a new modern art gallery with picasso linocuts also reminds me of the 4 story office building that's next to a couple oil upgraders and a Mary Brown's Famous Chicken and Taters.

...Not beaking Lloydminster, I love Lloydminster and Budweiser Park is gorgeous.

Nope should be the tallest building if you are looking at roof height at an est. 93 meters. the floors will be 4 meters a piece witha couple 5s and 6 meter floors sprinkled in an 8 meter first floor for lobby and retail/restaurant use and a 12 meter greenhouse (they call it a winter garden) on top.
