that's Osgoode Hall, silly. If you don't know Osgoode Hall, then you really don't know Toronto as well as you thought you did.




that's a great photo... those 60's/70's concrete slabs can be extremely cool. Toronto has quite a few of these types of buildings and I imagine that they will be much more appreciated in the future.

The problem with these slabs is the way they meet the street, and the fact that our climate can really make them look like crap in the winter. Otherwise, I agree.

I don't mind the way some of them meet the street. They're sort of inherently monolithic and powerful and evoke a kind of surreal scale (similar to some deco)... like this:
