Romantic Detroit (with new pics from the Book-Cadillac)

Eh, here's some crappy ass photos from that rowdy ass City of Motors. Hope you enjoy... or at least tolerate... them.

Who drew this crap? Way to deface a perfectly good window, "Jerome from Yonkers."

Good day from Belle Isle. Pass that blunt, son.

Man, you're really pushing the asexual identity. I don't know if I should feel sorry or laugh! Good pics though.

C, I remember when I first walked past that skyline sketch on the window, I thought, WOAH! Someone out there, other than me, is falling for Detroit!

Looks like the Peop went from electric back to a steam locomotive.

And did I read that right? Cinnamon CHURROS? What's a Churro?

Kind of surprised me too.

Dandy set there UC. I think CG II snuck into town from Wisconsin and did that window.

Gotta admit this one is my favorite (the colors are wonderful):

Thanks for a glimpse of Motown.

Thanks peeps.

Michi: that drawing was the culmination of my boredom and having to work on a Saturday afternoon... and the churros are like the Taco Bell "dessert", the cinnamon twists.

Colder than Sebastian McCallister's rejection rate...

Let's start at West Adams & Park Av, son...

Can I get a window washer on the 24th floor? Thankyoumuch.

Book Tower, on the left: future condo tower? Stay tuned for details...

Even God has a soft spot for Detroit, I guess.

Paul Bunyan sneezed here.

The 1930s never looked so good.

My future car after I hit these blocks like demolition crews...

Th-Th-Th-That's all folks. Uglyman OUT.

Great density in this one:

Also, good call on the Quattrosporte. That IS the sweetest car available, if you like full size, four door luxury cars. Which happens to be my favorite too.

Spent some of my hard earned money down there a couple weeks ago visiting the auto show! I love it down there! Temp was around 4 degrees though so I felt like I owned the place walking around town. Nice pictures!
