if it's a hit, it may very well be the beginning of a whole new thing in san antonio. destination entertainment. can't say i'd be buying tickets, but a little live theatre (even campy stuff) is always a good thing. anything that attracts creative talent.

Bleh, I hate it when we are made out to be some kind of hick Country-Music city. SA is Metal-Town USA and Tejano Capital. F*ck Country!!! I never want to see Branson and San Antonio in the same sentence ever.

It's just that same old (dumb) Texan stereotype. I don't mind outlaw country/alternative country, (Willie and Waylon), but everything coming from Nashville stinks and I can't stand the new stuff. I wouldn't even call that country music. Most of it today is the country equivalent of pop rock. At least with pop rock it branched off into its own genre and didn't water down true rock and roll. I can't say the same for country music now days which has become wimpy and uncreative.

Thanks, thanks.

Great job keeping the place running. It has been nice to lurk through every few weeks and to see everything that's going on.

Still in Africa...I'll be in Cape Town in Feb, NYC in March, and then back in San Antonio. Sometime in March I'll post photo threads on Johannesburg, Cape Town, NYC, and of course SA.
