Site plan with elevations. The height is listed as 203 feet with 18 floors. Does anyone know where the 247 foot, 24 floor height came from?

^^ I always thought 247' seemed too tall, given its diminutive stature compared to the 278' Drury Hotel (former Alamo National Bank) across the street.

Well, it went through a design change. The roof is different and it does appear taller. I'm just wondering where those numbers came from, and if there were any updated elevations somewhere. I'm just wanting to see the elevations to make sure the mechanical penthouse isn't higher since it might be.

You thought the height was too small yet compared the structure to taller Drury Inn next-door to it as being diminutive in comparison. I'm not sure... what exactly are you trying to say?

^I believe that is the 203 foot version. If you guys actually read the link I posted in post number 231, it shows the elevations with that height, and the roof line is identical to that design. The 247 foot, 24-story version has a different roof line than those renderings show.

The Drury Plaza Hotel is 284 feet to the roof (below the sign). The parapet of the "wings" of the hotel are 239 feet above the street. So...the renderings above that Jack quoted are clearly showing a building with a roof height that is shorter than 247 feet.

The current design is 247 feet. My point all along was I wish we could see the elevations for the 247 foot version to know the exact height of the roof.

Alright, so 8 feet taller than the Drury's wings will be noticeable since they're across the street from each other. That's tall enough to be seen from several angles.

Ok, here is the site plan with the elevations for the 247 foot version. I remember reading in the media that the hotel would have 20 floors and that the other 4 floors weren't actually occupied hotel levels, that they were mechanical.

These elevations show it with 20 hotel floors, plus 2 more mechanical levels above that.

The heights are:

247 feet to the top of the mechanical penthouse

222 feet 5 inches to the main roof

210 feet 6 inches to the 20th floor

103 feet 9 inches to the 9th floor setback

These are the heights as measured from the street level, the riverwalk level drops down another 13 feet 6 inches - so the building is actually 260 feet 6 inches tall from the riverwalk level.

I also found this version of it from 2016, and the massing here seems to be a little taller than 247 feet. They had CG massing models for the Floodgate and Canopy Hotel together.
