No one knows. It's been that way for like half a year. Best I can figure is it must be for some kind of equipment.

They are having trouble sealing the amenity floors and the rooftop garden. Trust me, we are all pissed too. The Northern Lights (full tower public art LEDs) were supposed to be online already.

What's that stone building with the funky and out of place 1960's addition?

What's with the weird blue lights on the back of it? Crazy how they are that visible in the daytime.

It wasn't daytime, it was dusk.

Do you not spend any time downtown though? Those lights have been there for years. They're just to light up the alley.

That's a pretty obscure alley. I don't get DT much these days. Even when I do that's not exactly an area I would frequent. Not sure why that's so shocking to you.

It's certainly not an obscure alley. It's First Street and Stephen Ave (two of the main bar/restaurant/shopping streets in the core area), right across from the Hudson Bay flagship, and the lights have been around for five years or more. Those facts are why I questioned it, though I expressed no sign of shock.

I agree man, at least for the exterior. The interior needs seeeerious work, but the exterior with the colonnade/arcade is pretty excellent and makes it my favourite of the downtown Hudson Bay flagships.

Same, I like them all but the Winnipeg, Vancouver and Calgary ones are all my favorite from the outside. The one in Montreal needs to lose or renovate that ugly ass awning that wraps around it.

160 front street has it's crane. Will it have more then one? As far as cranes go this one looks a little rough around the edges. I wonder if there is a shortage?

There is definitely a shortage. Both Toronto and Vancouver have seen some very dodgy cranes of late as the number of U/C projects continues to climb.

Yea, there is a pretty rusty one out on a rental project on Yonge and Eg..at least I believe it's that project, might be confusing it with E2.
