If they where to have put the web cam any place else, they would not have been able to get the entire building in the shot later in construction.

No, but I would like to make an educated guess....

The residential floors are counted starting from 5-47 according to the marketing website. And I would venture to say those 42 floors have a 13' floor to floor height, with 18-24" taken up by structure and piping/ductwork. That leaves 11', which is about the minimal you'd expect in a more luxurious building, which not likely have exposed piping/ductwork. The first two floors have a grander height that I would conservatively estimate at 22' each.
The ornamental top looks to be about 3 typical floors.
In summary -
42 floors @ 13' = 546'
2 floors @ 22' = 44'
Ornamental top = 39'
Total = 629'

It's 540', believe me, i have the plans. The typical floor to floor height is 10'8". Residential buildings don't need as much for floor heights since they do not have suspended layin ceilings and mechanical plenums above the ceilings like an office building has. They also do not have concrete pan slab construction or steel bar joist type floor structures.

Well that's a let down, I just knew it was going to top 600 feet. But at 540 feet its still going to be about 200 feet taller than Twelve so I'm satisfied.

Novare's buildings aren't typically that tall because, while they tout "10 foot ceilings," they do everything in their power to keep the concrete floor slabs to a minimum thickness (usually about 7"). This way, they can pack as many condos into as little physical space as possible.

Well how tall is 12CP??? If the Atlantic is 7 stories taller than 12CP, at a minimum of 10-11ft a floor and 12CP is 500ish ft, then the Atlantic has to be like 570-580 at minimum right???? How could it be any shorter???

Metropolis has 10'' concrete floor slabs. After Metropolis, the slab thickness
was reduced to 7'' in Spire etc. I beleive thats because Metropolis was the
1st building in this style for Novare, and he had to break into the market,
so the quality of construction was high. But after Metropolis was sold out so quickly,
they reduced the costs, hence 7'' slabs, no more porte cochere, no
air rights for the park view, increase in number of units/tower etc.
