I hope we (bombers) sweep the 2 games, have the stars aligned to make this a possiblity after the long..LDC drought? Is the Banjo bowl trophy shined up and ready to be presented to the Bombers already? hmmm

No way Bumblers take the LDC. Riders at 0-9 had no trouble handling them last year. This year we are WAY better at 1-8!

At this point the Riders are more likely to be forced to forfeit the game for roster infractions than they are to win the LDC.

Now that we know people are watching we will be better at hiding the extra players...

hahah, let the fun begin! Should be no contest this year. But as Stormer mentioned, Blue thought it was a gimmie last time.

I find it very difficult pumping the tires of a team that has had problems tying their own shoe laces for much of the season, but here it goes:

I think the Riders will play moderately better than average and ...... thats all I've got. Go anonymous Rider players go....whoever you are.

Bomber fan attendance at the LDC has been dwindling that last few years. It should be better this year with the Bombers' better record and Rider fans not hoarding tickets. It is way more fun when there are lots of them at Mosaic taking in the thrashing.

I thought it was more people realizing Saskatchewan isn't that great of a place to travel to.

I'm actually convinced that our 1-8 Riders are far worse than last year's 0-9 squad. That being said, there are certain constants in life - the Bombers losing the LDC being one of them.

The Riders are real bad this season and anything less than a thumping by the Big Blue will be a let down!

Only because the Rider organization is restricting tickets to Bomber fans. To get a ticket this year to LDC you needed to buy a ticket of the same price to another game. On other forums lots of people that have gone for years said it wasn't happening. Guess the Rider management is afraid of having fans of the winning team show up, either that or they need a few thousand extra seats for all their "hidden" players.

You realize that the Bombers will probably lose 46-12 or something like that? That's how the CFL works.

I propose a compromise: the Riders take the LDC as usual, while the Bombers earn the privilege of being the banjo-pickin' hicks.

Also, I'd think savvy Winnipeg fans would be able to find tickets to join the annual Bummer beatdown, err I mean prairie party, by searching kijiji.ca, UsedRegina.com, Ticketmaster resale, etc.

Dressler set to return for the LDC, strange how that works out, family will be wearing Blue and Gold at the game..he did quite well for the Riders over the years in the TD category for the LDC...

Ah, forgot the nostalgic image...
