This is great news! Especially since the lion's share of economic news nowadays is around layoffs and closures. Verafin has been in aggressive growth mode for the past couple years now, this may act as a catalyst for even more future growth! Not a shabby pay day for execs at Verafin either... LOL!

In similar news, there was an article in The Telegram highlighting big growth in Tech industry over the next few years, another potential boon. It's good to see some a sliver of good news all awhile drowning in a sea of negativity and despair.

It’s going to be a little easier to get off the island, as more flight options become available.

Beginning May 31, PAL Airlines will be offering flights from Deer Lake to Halifax six times a week, as well as Deer Lake to Fredericton flights three times weekly.

This will mean access to New Brunswick six times weekly with the Deer Lake to Moncton route that began in January.
