In similar news, there was an article in The Telegram highlighting big growth in Tech industry over the next few years, another potential boon. It's good to see some a sliver of good news all awhile drowning in a sea of negativity and despair.

PAL Airlines Adding Flights from Deer Lake to Halifax, Fredericton

Beginning May 31, PAL Airlines will be offering flights from Deer Lake to Halifax six times a week, as well as Deer Lake to Fredericton flights three times weekly.

This will mean access to New Brunswick six times weekly with the Deer Lake to Moncton route that began in January.

The latest economic review by the city is available. The population of the St. John’s metro area is now estimated at 223,667, up 2.1% since 2022.
