^ugh, it "looks like" beige stucco. Well, I guess on a positive note it will blend in with all the old apartment buildings around there. Bit of a "step down" from the Five West towers though (which at least have a stone / brick veneer finish). I hope there is another step to come where they put some stone brick "look" (I think I can see that on the render, except for the sides at bottom, not sure)...

Looks like precast concrete to me. But it does appear that they've value engineered the brick or stonework texture from the rendering. Which is sad, because that texture kind of made the rendering.

Also, is this the back of the building or the front? Because from this view, it looks like the arch is also gone.

I like how it strikes a pose in the Calgary skyline. It's a dog of a building but beauty is where you find it I suppose.

Yes. I could be wrong too. It's just the way the edges look (grey base coat) Precast would be the cream colour all the way around.

I like the way the windows are vertical columns going up, rather than punched holes. But other than that, its pretty disappointing (assuming there isn't another exterior finish step coming), even if it isn't stucco, it looks like beige stucco, of which West Downtown already has plenty of.

Oh, just had a double check on the model in show room - yeah, aside from render it was always going to be stucco I think, the model shows it that way, and per this source/database:

Drone Shots Highlight Vogue's Crown

Quote:
Vogue's Art Deco-inspired features anchor its central address at 914 6th Avenue SW. An eight-storey podium clad in stone and precast concrete panels is highlighted by a grand arched entryway framed by vertical expanses of glass. From there, a series of piers and balconies form the bulk of Vogue's tower portion, until it culminates in a stepped crown.

I was kind of skeptical about the look of this tower, but it has grown on me a lot. A nice addition to the skyline.

I like!!! And I remember a lot of folks didn't like this. This looks like much, much shorter versions of stuff they built in New York or Chicago!

I am just hoping that the grand arched entrance turns out okay. I am worried it might turn out tacky. The rest of the building has exceeded my expectations.

The big "V" is now up. The grand entrance work is moving very slow.
