More Forum Meet goodness from SA

This is part 1 of the pics I took, as a supplement to KevinFromTexas's excellent threads from the forum meet. They're also posted in the City Photos Section. Enjoy!

You and Kevin did an excellent job of covering SA.

Some of yours make it look like your in Italia.

Awesome photos. Post these in the My City Photos, if you haven't already. They should counter what people think of SA because of someone.

Incredible pics, wow! You also really captured some nice skyline shots, I especially like that really wide one that shows the whole skyline from the Tower of the Americas all the way past the Weston center. And I love those shots of the missions, it's been a while since I've visited those. Thanks for sharing these with us.

Great pics. I'm glad you took some shots of stuff outside of downtown.

I still can't get over how small the Marriott Rivercenter looks compared to Grand Hyatt. I had always thought of the Marriott as being big, but the Grand Hyatt is enormous.

Hah, some people need to get a grip, and, get over it. Sorry that I know my S.A.facts, and always prove many forumers wrong at times, on certain topics. It's a joke how certain people act in here, so childish! I have heard some B.S. stories. I have a ex friend that comes in here, a loser, loves to spread rumors. I'm not going to say whom! Instead of denouncing me, the culprit, or aka's, should prove me wrong, more. It has really gotten old. If a person makes a judgement about a city, because of a forumer, they are not standing on two feet.

Awesome pics! Good Job! Sorry to to interupt your thread.

What a great mix of old and new.

And the old is really old and I mean that in a good way. There's so much history in San Antonio (besides the Alamo) and I don't think a lot of first-time visitors realize that until they get there.

I love it. I can say this being born and growing up in Austin and now living in Dallas for over 20 yrs. San Antonio does not have a lot of tall buildings for a city of it size, but what is really beautiful is the density from diffrent vantage spots with in the city. Another great thing about San Antonio it is one of a few major cites in the south that can date its self as town or city back to the 1700's and it have the sites to prove it. IMO AT&T made a grave mistake in leaving that city. I have lived in Dallas a long time, AT&T was just a better fit for the city of San Antonio. You will have to spend more than a day or two checking out all the historic sites in that city. And Austin an hr. away compliments San Antonio so well. If you have ever been to this part of Texas then you will know, it is quite diffrent from other parts of Texas.

Thumbs up

This native son of San Antonio thinks those are some of the best S.A. pictures he's seen in quite some time.
