Joking aside, this might not be a concern depending on the positioning of the sun relative to the building's shiny shiny glass.
The curvature of this facade is lesser than that of Vdara, and the facade is is straight up and down, so it wont be concentrating and reflecting intense beams of light at the ground like 20 Fenchurch.

Love this one for being a little different than the rest of that cluster with the horizontal banding and the curve.

I think there's a similarly designed tower somewhere in Canada. It's got the same curve and facade treatment. Maybe Calgary? I'm sure there's a scraperhead that knows which tower I am talking about.

The (Foster-designed) Bow (in Calgary)?

Funny enough I thought of the Bow right before I saw that post. Besides the concave face there really isn't any other similarity though.

I hope this tower doesn’t melt cars and start fires on that little clock building like the concave shaped one in London did

Love the fun geometric gesture here . .
As a fine traditional architectural form, the vertical concave curve
goes a long way to save, this otherwise ordinary version of Queens
Plaza Park tower . . Since this is the version actually getting built,
it's absolutely necessary that a distinguishing feature is happening
to uplift the humiliated, cut-down-to-size tower . .
Of course we'd all prefer the earlier 915-foot tall design
soaring 70 stories . . burgeoning up to crown the Queens' skyline
with glory . . And not just we human skyscraper-lovers . .
The once monumental, centuries-ago tallest, cute little vintage edifice,
out in front of this construction site, was hoping to absorb some of
that reflected 900 ft. greatness . . to restore its own lost self esteem . .
It really needed more of a hero to be its pal . .
So at least now the wee landmark, though overshadowed by a
751 ft. cheap heap, has a cool curve to vaingloriously posture in front of . .
pretending the curve is that of the scooped out canadian foster tower,
makes an even better party . .
