^^ Bay-Adelaide isn't there so it's before 2009. Ritz-Carlton doesn't seem to be there either and it broke ground in 2007.

We're not at the 10 million benchmark of 'mega city' status yet, but point taken.

There's something - likely one of the ShittyPlace buildings - under construction there, so it could be as early as 2002-2003; but I would posit that it can be no earlier.

Hi Craner:

Gresto made a pretty good guess (using his magnifying glass).

The original shot was actual a huge horizontal pano done for a client in 2004.

Cheers.

You are welcome... would love to see the same shot now from the brilliant photog/stitcher. But alas no budget ;-) The original shot(s) went north beyond Eglinton.

Whatever format people are comfortable with. We could select an empty parking lot somewhere downtown and go from there. Or just create a lot no real city so and make a checklist of things each tower should have in it's design. I finally have all the time in the world to do this LOL.

How big of a lot? I'm thinking of 26 Maitland, it's an L shaped lot able to fit 3 regular sized towers on it.

I think that this lot is perfect. It allows for a large diversity of potential uses and designs. Any rules/guidelines for this design competition?

We need a time frame. We don't need any rules...
