Sorry to hear that TV.

Wow, i figured having a moose ticket connection was just going to be good for a better seat. If not for that connection, our group probably would have been shut out.

Crazy. Literally every second person I know was sitting in front of multiple computers and on the phone at noon today.

Congrats to Winnipeg, that's awesome. Hopefully the boneheads at the league will start to realize where their bread is buttered and allow more teams to move to Canada.

lol NHL.com reporting they sold out in all of 4 minutes. Guess, uhh, Gary might have been wrong when he said he doesn't know if it will do better than in Atlanta?

Drive to 13 website says that all tickets were sold in 17 minutes, however NHL.com says they were gone in 4 minutes.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=564817

And my personal favorite quote from Bettman:

**"While I had no doubt the 'Drive to 13,000' would reach its destination, the remarkable speed at which it got there certifies the fans' hunger for NHL hockey and their commitment to True North's initiatives," said NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman in a statement before Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final in Vancouver.**

Holy christ on a crutch Winnipeg. I knew 13,000 was attainable, and after the first day I started saying "yeah, this could easily sell out on Saturday". But... but...

4 minutes. FOUR FUCKING MINUTES. At the 3rd highest average ticket price in Canada/the league (depending on who you ask). Why are there any teams in the sunbelt again?

I'm in shock at how this played out. Never in my wildest dreams would I have seen it going this well. Now the only problem is finding which of my friends managed to score tickets, and playing nice to them for a while until I get to see a game.

Edit: as pointed out to me, the Winnipeg waiting list is longer than Phoenix's season ticket base. 2 teams in Winnipeg perhaps?

I was right at the checkout screen earlier today, but then got screwed over because I didn't have enough in my credit card. I was in a rush to get to work, and I didn't even know there was a waiting list until almost an hour ago, right when I came home.

Thank God, one of my co-workers was a Moose season ticket holder, so he offered me some tickets once the next season starts.

The drive is alive in this city!
