You have to put the boundary somewhere. Seems like a perfectly reasonable place to me to separate Exchange from rest-of-downtown.

Yeah. Lombard is actually the official boundary of the Exchange District.

I just think it's a classic Winnipeg conundrum of blindingly following guidelines as hard rules instead of just using intelligence and looking at a situation because "rules" don't always make sense.

TV, gotta say it's awesome how this turned out exactly like the renders. If anything, I'd say the materials look even better in the finished project – a rare feat.

Great work – can't wait to see all the landscaping done in spring.

Yup, I agree with everyone else, this one turned out great! Now let's add a couple of new restaurants and maybe a coffee shop and that area of downtown will be a lot more lively.

TV I drove by at night – that kitchen with big widows all along Westbrook is gorgeous. Hopefully it gets some some neighbours soon!
