Wait I just saw the rendering and there are two western towers. Is the plan to do one of those at a time?

I believe the western portion is considered one building or phase.

I'm curious about the shovelling situation tho. I guess you just push it over the edge and hope it doesn't hit someone?

EDIT: I think there is some time of siding enclosing the western stairwells so it is protected from the weather? So it would be cold but dry? I can't find a good rendering of that side anywhere.

I hope I end up knowing someone who lives here so I can check it out. Those river views

It looks like at most there are tiny slivers of window on the west side. I don’t know if anyone has been to 62M but it is spectacularly awful. Which is why it’s half Airbnb now.

The windows on the west side are approx same size as the doors so 3' x 6' give or take.

The second floor walkway is being installed now along Waterfront. The top half of the ridiculous freestanding staircase is all glass which is cool I guess. It’s been so windy the last few days and when I drove by it looked like it would be just absolutely dreadful walking across the open bridge to your apartment door, and it’s not even winter.

Still don't see how it's a staircase and not an elevator. It's way too small to be a staircase unless it's like practically climbing a ladder.

Everything about it is dreadful, you would be hard pressed to find anyone who likes the design aside from those in here who are mostly in the anything is better than nothing camp, design and aesthetics be damned!

It's hard to tell, I thought elevator at first too. But then I'm not sure where the stairs down would be, doesn't appear to be any within the building. And I'm not a code expert but would one exit staircase even be enough for a building this size?

It's nice to see a variety for sure and not just generic cookie cutters. I was worried everything would look like Sky - something you'd see out on Pembina...

The James ave design may not be my fav but its unique at least!

As part of the mix of architecture it's certainly an interesting addition to the area.

I really like the look of it (Right Now). Very clean and modern looking. I hope all the staircases and ramps don't clutter it up.

I kinda wish the Synonym guys would put a mural up on that black siding. It's the perfect size. And they always get great artists. Maybe something with mechanical imagery to reference the pump house.

I am all for murals although I know that is a sensitive topic for some people

That south wall will be changing as it’ll have the stairway wrapping around it which should make it more interesting and dynamic.
