DENVER | 16 Chestnut | 250 FT | 19 FLOORS

Over in the Union Station neighborhood, East-West partners is proposing an 18-story, 320,000 square foot office development. This would seat right next to the millennium bridge. One unique aspect is the helical parking structure (which is a little contradicting given this is going in Denver's largest TOD-area)

Here are some conceptual renderings from DenverInfill.

DENVER | 16 Chestnut | 18 Floors

This building is planned for Denver's Union Station neighborhood.

Note the connection from the bridge to the building's mezzanine level.

Moderators: Can we have the title changed to 19 Stories and 250'. Greatly appreciated!

Latest news and renderings from DenverInfill:

Quote:
The Union Station district in Downtown Denver is poised for another project to begin.

16 Chestnut is an office tower first proposed by East West Partners back in April 2012. The tower’s design was advanced in 2013, which was when we last reported on the project. At that time, however, the Triangle Building was EWP’s priority so there hasn’t been much to say about 16 Chestnut. Until now.

East West Partners and Starwood Capital Group just announced that 16 Chestnut is moving forward with construction set to begin in July 2016. The tower will rise 19 stories or 250 feet and contain a total of 410,000 square feet...

Well, it's not beautiful, but nice to see some decent height in the Union Station area! Makes a big impact driving by on I-25.

Is that a huge parking garage at the podium?
