Here they come. The NIMBY's marshal their forces to oppose this project.

What an idiot! Please provide a copy of the deal you got that says no development near you.

LFP confirmed that rezoning has been approved last year already, but no word on building permit or prospects for construction start

Construction fencing now setup around the site. Would expect tree removal during the winter months in order to get the site prep started and start excavation for underground parking. Will be curious to see who they contract with to build it given the shortage of experienced workers and high construction contractors.

Site prep has started with trees being cleared now. Will be interesting to see how fast an excavation contractor starts to dig the pit for the foundation.

Ya the design itself isn't much to write home about but I do like the look of the brick. It's a nice little infill but wouldn't be if it was just a glass box or concrete bunker in such a nice little area. At least the developers have tried to make it blend in more with the neighbourhood.

Site is cleared now of trees. Stump removal next. Will be interested in seeing when the excavation contractor starts work for the pilings and pit digging.

Work has started up again on the site with soil being moved in the NE corner.

Appear to be at bottom of pit along the west side now. Given the slope the east side of pit should see alot of pilings installed to hold back the earth. The foundation will be interesting to see in terms of how deep they sink the footings. I would expect them to move quickly during the good weather to have the foundation and parking levels well along before winter arrives. Could see tower crane soon.

Sign up on fence for Fritz Adler Precast. - https://faprecast.ca/

Looks like this will be mostly a precast building which should see it go up fairly quickly once above ground.

Tower crane pieces have now been delivered. They wait on the lawn to the east of the site for the base to be poured. Still lots of water at bottom of pit due to the rains recently. Will definitely be a problem until they can get the footings and foundation completed and the first level of underground parking formed and poured.

Nothing has been happening at this site in weeks. Must be waiting on something.

Another month and zero progress on this build. The pit is a lake again after the downpour yesterday. A construction trailer is on site and a vehicle is often parked there but zero signs of any construction crews. Really odd to see the good weather being wasted. They must be waiting on something to get this going.
