That's a really good looking curtain wall. The color choice and variation is playful but not tacky, and the fins are a nice detail that add visual texture.

The 6XG webcam had a nice shot of the Indeed tower cranes today. The 6XG crane is starting off around 300' hight.

Yeah, I'm really liking the facade on this. The color and texture are a bit different than what we've seen so far by having a little more green in it. I'm looking forward to when the glass gets up a ways more and we have a better idea of how it'll look.

Me too. What I'm really liking from those pics are the colors of the sky, Indeed, the lake, and those trees. That last picture (not the one with all the cranes) is incredibly beautiful. When I look at the first picture of the large tree in the foreground of Indeed, I can't picture many other large city with this many trees in and around their downtowns.

The glass work that connects the tower with the post office seems to be in place and more work getting done on ground floor

The reflections in this tower are really going to be great. And then the texture on the other side. It's an interesting mix.

I'm with you! It's so attractive and handsome. Will be a joy to have in the skyline. The tower is just at the point where it's passed Chase, is just passing 300 W 6th and will pass One American Center (600 Congress) in around a month. It will begin to make a dramatic impact on our skyline at that time.

The elevator core of this one is really starting to make a mark on the skyline from a couple of places around South Austin. This thing will appear huge on the skyline.

If you add the next tier of buildings -- 6X, Indeed, The Republic 5C, BBVA, 4th and Brazos, etc. -- it's going to be dramatically different. 5-7 years from now, it'll be a whole different city.

Absolutely. And they will definitely break up the line dance that's been dominating the skyline along the river. Thank goodness they now have to push construction inland.
