I wonder what they will do will the exterior? I like the lights on the exterior now, but I wonder if there is a more extensive elaborate plan for the exterior Besides a lighting system?

I don't think they need to do anything. I believe Maclab carried out an extensive interior renovation a few years back. So other than some minor repairs and touch-ups here and there I don't think Leston needs to do much.

Remember the penultimate exterior concept they had planned? It was quite a change and looked really good, but I would have also missed the original look.

Curious to see what they do.

What is Procura waiting for? If they still own it (Sedona Keys Developments might own it now). Dwayne’s Home is still standing 7 months after the mandated demolition date. And they’re in arrears paying the property taxes. Bad look for one of these companies.

They've been very quiet since they finished The Louvre at Century Park. Have a feeling they are getting out of the game.

Highlights

Strong housing starts: Total housing starts are forecasted to remain robust, propelled by economic fundamentals and a strong demand for lower-priced multi-unit housing developments.

Resale market growth: Resale market transactions are expected to grow modestly, accompanied by an increase in the average price. Potential homeowners may face challenges due to reduced borrowing capacity and limited inventory of lower-priced units.

Edmonton rental market outlook: The rental market in Edmonton is projected to stay tight, with rental demand surpassing supply, leading to lower vacancy rates and higher average rents throughout most of the forecast period.

I hope we start to see an explosion of projects get going soon with the market the way it is. Probably a good time for some of these developers to start projects that have been shelved since COVID.

Didn't they just finish Century Gardens right after the Louvre, looks like they have activity for another project at Century Park too? ^ perhaps with the vacancy rate and LRT access, it makes sense in the immediate term to leverage that site as much as possible for them, rather than nascent one-off downtown projects?

Our EllisDon Special Projects division are excited to begin mobilization at Sir Frederick Haultain Building in Edmonton this week. This 8 storey building on 109 St, constructed in 1959, will undergo a complete interior building renovation, exterior glass replacement and stone improvements. Once complete, this building will provide best-in-class energy efficient office-space for our Client Alberta Infrastructure . Looking forward to seeing this beautiful building being restored to new glory.

The last 2 days there's been work on the corner of 123 street and 103 Ave. I recall an old sign for Averton, but is this an approved project that may be potentially getting the go ahead?

Someone should do a project run down for Edmonton. Be nice to see a full list with images and what the final looks will be.

It is indeed approved and good to go. RA9 or something 15-20 storeys.
