Desert, that last picture is one of the most epic of the Burj. I really wish it was all full so most could be lit on the lower parts, but it looks extremely epic with that spire all bright.

Last i heard 825 of the 900 units were unoccupied.

This building is 1/3 the size of the new WTC in New York. The problem isn't a single megaproject built on spec. It's that the entire city of Dubai was built on spec and on credit.
