Such beautiful glass. I just wish it were taller.

Anyone know if this building(s) will be lit similar to the new Frost at night?

The building looks great from the POV of the riverwalk but I gotta be honest, I'm not really liking the opposite side of the building so far...There seems to be more wall than glass. I'm gonna have to take a photo the next time I pass by to get yall's opinion on it. Still a big improvement from what it looked like before though!

My only complaint about this building is the facade facing IH 37. As I stated, in my opinion, that there's too much "wall" on this side. I'm not too sure if they requested wall space instead of windows on this side of the building but this is not a good look to me.

SA Express News- 11/27/19

CPS Energy’s new headquarters

The local utility’s new headquarters at McCullough and Avenue B is expected to be finished next summer and employees will start moving in soon afterward, spokesperson Melissa Sorola said.

Construction crews are working to turn buildings formerly occupied by AT&T and Valero Energy Corp. into the utility’s new $210 million hub. The exterior is 98 percent complete and interior work is underway, Sorola said.

To help cover the cost of its new headquarters, CPS put more than $50 million worth of its properties up for sale in April, including its current headquarters on Navarro and the Villita Assembly Building. CPS is still reviewing proposals, Sorola said.

Now that this is getting close, there will be an open to the public fitness center, the cafeteria will be open to the public, (so, if you have people working for CPS, you have lunch with them), and a food truck park.

It will be a nice addition to this area.

(Yes, I've had my criticisms of this, but it will be net positive overall).
