The list is based entirely on the percent (at the top) of a supertall skyscraper that is made up of uninhabitable space. It is purely a numbers game, and has nothing to do with actually being "vain" such as ESB and Chrysler. It's pretty obvious that many of you who posted never actually clicked on the article to see what it was about.

I know! There is obviously a set criteria and people are turning into "I don't like Trump" and "Well this building has a spire too!".

No, just count a building to its roof height or the height of its highest floor. The Shard's highest floor is at 244m yet it's considered a super tall. It's very misleading.
