There are a couple Fatburger locations in Canada.

I had it in Calgary a couple of times and found it pretty bland and overpriced.

If you take a look that whole wing on the second floor from Athlete's World to Holt Renfrew Outlet is empty except for the small Hallmark location. If that Hallmark location closes shop, that whole wing would be enough square footage for something big...like an H&M or Zara.

If you check out their website, there are actually about 30 locations in BC/ALTA, but only 1 is SASK. Maybe the have aggressive expansion plans?

Zara would be awesome, but I fear that whole wing will end up as office space eventually.

If SportsMart is becoming a Dollar Tree where is the Sports Check going?

See this older post on the subejct as a reference.

Two pieces of news:

1) Sport Check has an application for a20,000 sq ft store at Unicity Mall
2) Target has an application for a 170,000 sq ft store at the (former) Bomber Stadium

Sport Check is next to Staples. The Sport Mart is between Walmart and Sobeys. Dollar Tree is taking the Sport Mart space.

Why do you need a zoning change to convert a SportMart into a Dollar Tree?

They've been all over the Greater Vancouver area for several years now. Never been, but looking forward to trying it!

Heh, I'm down in California at a conference right now, and had the pleasure of having an In n Out burger the other night. Their menu is even simpler than Five guys... burger, with onions, or not. The rest is standard.

Not expecting In n Out in Canada anytime soon though!
But bring on the first Winnipeg Fatburger! It is encouraging that Seasons of Tuxedo / IKEA are attracting new names to the city. Brand variety never hurts.

There is an In-n-Out "secret" menu.

My cousin usually orders the flying dutchman. It's so weird.

I always get the classic double-double with no onions whenever I head to In-n-out in Cali.
