Great update pics, Joe! Keep 'em coming! The thing I like about this one is how wonderfully slender it's going to be. What's going to be in all of that space between the tower and Peachtree??

Wonder if they'll have a restaurant available to the general public that is anywhere close to the Mansion at Turtle Creek in Dallas? Took my wife there years back on our anniversary and it was incredible ... and $$$$$$ (but worth it). One of those places that you make an entire evening out of the meal.

Nice tower. Classic.

SteveD, I'd post the pics here if I knew how, but if you go to www.mansiononpeachtree.com in the image gallery there's lots of pics of the base between the tower and the street.

Drove by this weekend and noticed that they’ve started putting frames up for the glass windows and they’re fire-engine red! Somehow I never noticed that in any of the renderings. Went back to their website but for some reason my browser won’t let me get to the renderings in the building section.

I really don't like this facade right now - it looks too fake to me. Maybe it isn't in it's final form...

Patience, man -- 25% is way too early to judge a building! That's why architects provide their clients with renderings -- to give them a vision to hold onto so they won't panic during construction. This is also why an artist won't let you see his painting until it is completed. Building is like making sausage, and I'll bet you're going to like this one when it's done!

Probably the first and last time that a reference was made to sausage in a non sexual manner.

None of the renderings on the website show red window frames... they appear to be chrome or stainless steel. I bet that's just a protective film which has to be peeled off after everything else is done. That's just a supposition, but I can't see that building with red window frames!

The red will likely not remain. My guess is that whatever this red we see now is serving a different prupose than being the finished look.

The red is being pulled off and only served as handling protection. The remaining color is beige...

That's the best rendering I've seen yet! even though it isn't color detailed, it is by far the best rendering I've seen yet. Great find!!!

You guys don't remember, but that was the first rendering when the project was announced a couple of years ago. It was on the architect David M. Stern's website. It was the picture posted on hear before it was replaced with the first colored drawing rendering. We have had three different renderings on this building.

I really like how the juxtaposition of this tower and Sovereign is shaping up.
