Looks like they're going to go ahead and use the existing creek there as a water feature! cool! I would love to know what restaurant is going in there...

Looks nice, but I'm counting between 9 and 10 floors in those renderings

i'm guessing that the top 3 windows (the long ones) are actually two floors each. compare their size to those of the lower floors. either they're two floors or the drury is going to be hooking up average joe-business travellers with 20 ft ceilings.

I took pics this past weekend of the Drury construction, I'll post when I get home. They already have the first floor set and the columns set as well.

I know, I couldn't believe it either when I first drove by.. It was just an empty lot a couple of weeks ago.

Here's the progress made so far on the I-10/1604 Drury (think this one is only going 10 stories, tho):

MySa real estate blog says that its going 12 stories here...

There are a couple of photos linked to there as well.

This could end up looking really awkward, though... 7 stories of hotel over 4 stories of parking over 1 reception/lobby level. Did we get renderings at some point?

Crane is up; tower crane.
Couldn't see much else, it was dark out.
