The Margaritaville building is a Wyndham resort. They operate a little differently than typical timeshares. Instead of buying in one building, their purchasers get a certain number of nights a year to use in any Wyndham resort. I know I’ve pointed this out elsewhere, but I don’t remember if I did here.

It’s worth noting this because they won’t really need to find the biggest Jimmy Buffet fans in the world to buy here, it’ll rather be another building to add to their list of choices. I think the building will do well enough and stay fairly occupied.

This style of timeshare still seems like a bad idea to me though.

I hope it catches fire without harming anyone or any other buildings.

Why? It looks a hell of a lot better than the Midtown Hampton Inn.

Or is it just because you hate the target demographic?

Wonder if the city and midtown will require GA Power to enclose their adjacent property with a high brick wall similarly to their property on Piedmont and Sidney Marcus.

I have been wishing for years that they would put some art type of barrier around it.

Toll Brothers lot north of Hanover Midtown

Was/is this site owned by Comcast? If so, have they vacated the property?

They just filled land development permit late last month so it will be a few months (at least) before there is any movement on that project.

Are there any updates when they plan on starting the road work on Howell Mill? I was walking around Westside Provisions this weekend and the road looked absolutely awful.

This has been a fun one to watch go up; it really looks great along the existing buildings on BKW.

I noticed that this building's property owner also owns the empty parcel diagonally across the intersection with Faith Ave. Hopefully they won't wait too long to build something similarly nice there, which would connect the decent sidewalks in Glenwood Place to the interim Beltline trail starting construction this year. And hopefully block the view of Chick-fil-a in the process.
