Excavation was done, and the columns were set in. They are dug around pretty low, maybe they are working on drainage? not sure. But there are medal beams down below ready to be set. Perhaps the base is going to be set soon, I'm sure its going to be more than just a trash slab. I don't think the restaraunt is going to be built too low below street level since there are no flood gates north, probably same depth as Acenar.
I drive by daily and the digging is continuous. Not sure if they are going to go any deeper or if they are doing that via a "rat slab." The hole is flat and looks as if they are stopping there but does anyone think that 1 level is enough for parking? I'll take a closer look tommorrow.

On another note...
How are they making these buildings so short? That Holiday Inn has how may stories? And it is significantly taller than the Courtyard next door and eventually this Embassy Suites...
Are between-floor heights getting smaller? Am I just an idiot?
