That looks pretty damn good.

Wish the owners of the place next door would step up their game.

Cash 4 You isn't even in there anymore! They tried buying that corner but it wasn't for sale. Worst part is the owner obviously does not give a shit about that place.

It would also be nice if that suburban plaza across the street could be replaced with something more suitable to the area.

^I believe Centre Point is owned by J. Beaume of 123 James N fame, I believe.

You'd think that any redevelopment of that plaza would need to be done with or after the Tiv project. Hopefully he's started thinking about it at least...

If he is making money and has little cost, he may not be interested in doing anything with it until someone offers him an obscene amount of money for the land.

I'm pretty sure the property is managed by Effort Trust now... I can see some aesthetic upgrades happening to the plaza with new signage & windows, maybe some landscaping and repaving of the lot.

These plans were submitted to the Committe of Adjustment around November 2015. Looks to be a very tall 1 storey building that will house a brewery and a restaurant. I don't know if these plans are final. I do wish it was taller, but methinks this will be a really nice modern addition to the street.

I also wish it was about 2 or 3 stories taller but the design will probably be pretty nice.

Now THAT does not fit in at all. Don't like it.

Would much prefer something that matches the other buildings alongside it
