Macs at Carlton/Cumberland still there. Not sure if it's rebranded to Circle K. I've noticed a few other convenience stores popping up downtown this last while too.

Circle K at River and Osborne or the retail area around Marion & St. Mary's is a long walk, esp. if it's cold outside. There used to be a Mac's on Hargrave near Cumberland, is that still there?

At night the Regent & Day area is more thriving than is Portage & Main. Strange place indeed.
People travel from far and wide to attend the stellar selection of Transcona watering holes. It's quite something haha

Sky Convenience at Amy and Rupert is open daily until 10 PM. Later than that it'd probably the the Mac's/Circle K mentioned, or the 7-Eleven at Isabel and William.

There's definitely one on Vaughn not mentioned here and I think another one on Portage:

Also Sky Convenience is open 7 days a week and kudos to them for the good variety of products they carry. Deluca products, Bothwell cheese and things like that beyond just convenience items.

I worry convenience stores are an endangered species.

Santa Convenience on Broadway, the Collonade's convenience store, the c-store in the passport office building on Main... the one on Vaughn... all currently for sale.

Hopefully it's just that the owners use them for business-investor-stream nominee immigration, and then sell them off afterwards, but I do worry that neighbourhoods that really benefit from c-stores might see them disappear

^With the growth happening downtown, I wouldn't be surprised (or upset) to see 7-11 or Circle K take over some of these spots. I go to the one at 433 Main a few times a week. She smartly stocks lots office and cleaning supplies for when businesses in the area are in a pinch – it's great.

I know it's a spelling error but still made me laugh with visions of somebody hiding among warehouse aisles, crossbow at the ready and maintaining perfect stealth and silence in her hunt for the wily 2 ply 12 pack.

Wasn't able to get pictures but, ground floor pre-cast panel are going up today. Looks like they have 4 or 5 in place now. Nice to get above grade.

Depending on the size of building site a conventional crawler crane with a lufting jib can work.

The multi story seniors hi rise on Watt and Munroe was built that way with the LItz crawler placed in the City of Winnipeg parks dept storage yard to the north.
