I had a mental breakdown in a Facebook comment when that was posted to terrible maps. Someone replied "Man, that's the point. It's Terrible Maps" and I replied: I KNOW BUT I HAVE TO CLARIFY!

Quick, somebody post that "Nine Nations of North America" map again! Or the classic Soda/Pop map.

These maps always seem to exclude Alaska and of course Hawaii.

I'd say that Alaska is a lot like the rural parts of the US Northwest.

Hawaii is its own thing but very closely connected with California & Las Vegas (the 9th (Major) Island as many in Hawaii would say).

This is probably the most accurate. It's also weird to hear how much southerners talk about church, lol.

Fun but too simplistic. Southern Illinois is in The United States of Canada, but Cleveland is in Jesusland?

i like it too except that it oddly and unnecessarily calls out pittsburgh and austin.

all of them are ok to various extents. generalities and arbitrary groupings are fun and thats about all there is to it. none are to be taken too seriously. remember that social media trend a few years ago of city maps with various goofy monikers for neighborhoods?

They were decidedly not PC maps of areas like "Poor Ghetto", "Industrial waste", "Rich People pretending to be Cowboys" "hipster wasteland" "Dont walk here at night" etc.

I thought those were pretty funny.

So is Detroit and Minneapolis. How could Minneapolis be a part of Jesusland when they banned drive thru-Starbucks ?!

Minneapolis and detroit aren't in "Jesusland" on that crazy old map.

Minnesota and Michigan, along with Wisconsin and illinois, are clearly shown as part of the United States of Canada.

Yes, weird to talk about something that is the most central part of their spiritual being, family, and probably in their community. What a bunch of weirdos LOL
