It's clear to me that I would have to wear pants all the time at West Broadway Commons ...not so at 290 Colony.

The hollowcore on Broadway hasn't received its final topping yet.

290 Colony is a cast-in-place slab.

I still find it amazing that for all that has happened downtown in the last 20 years, the only new building to go up on Broadway between Osborne and Main is that little credit union office... that's it.

I know the area has scared off developers for eons... but you'd think they would've at least tried to shoehorn in some more apartments & condos, by now...

There has actually been a fair bit of development in the area over the last 15 years, to the north and south of Broadway. Just not on Broadway itself for some reason.

Where on Broadway would there be new development, there are really only 2 maybe 3 parking lots that could be developed on that stretch or did you mean renovations to existing buildings?

There are at least 5-6 parking lots directly on Broadway that could be developed.

There are parking lots suitable for development, and there are also some small, old buildings that are prime candidates for redevelopment. For example, the little walkup apartments between Smith and Garry, the shop that Hanford Drewitt is in, a couple of other small office and apartment buildings...

Wearing pants sucks. I wish I could walk around with my balls hanging loose everywhere.
