Actually I think it was about housing starts, where were the posts moved to?

The thread I'm thinking about referencing this article
http://www.century21.ca/suncountryre...ry_in_16_Years (About MLS Sales)

Also, at time of this writing, Google has the following 5th-ish overall if you search 'housing starts in winnipeg'

According to another thread, his name is highlighted in yellow and it says he was suspended. I think it's a bit harsh, but what do I know; I'm not a moderator.

Thought a thread about Winnipeg housing starts, pricing etc. was a good idea, the posts I did get a chance to read seemed reasonable and the topic seemed relevant, but then again what do I know, I've only been a member of this forum for nine years.

When I was looking for work, I seriously considered writing a letter into the paper about this (because I never got callbacks either; I got my job through a connection) but I got a job before I got the courage to do it.

Basically, tell employers in Winnipeg that if they won't pay you to work for them, you'll go on welfare and they can pay you to stay at home doing nothing, because you've been unemployed for 9 months now and haven't gotten any responses. I figured that if I did this, at least one business would respond to the letter by calling me back.

Could backfire though if your name is associated with a threat to go on welfare. My brother has been looking for work here for a while and can't get call backs either, but he's had three part time jobs in the meantime through family, so there are jobs out there, they're just really fucking picky.

You could also go the route of publishing a letter of all the places you applied at with a message to other job seekers not to bother with those places because they don't really want anyone, they're just teasing the unemployed.

Last-last resort, my employer is hiring, and we get along so well in person!

Leave the country and come back as a refugee, the govt. will pay for a place for you to live, will pay for your schooling, will provide funds for you to live on and if you had kids will provide daycare.

I know it is hard for someone in your position to be able to afford to go to school and live on your own at the same time.

Not to joke but are you getting someone to proof read your applications?

That is the first thing people look at to weed out applications.

Very true - spelling and grammar are important. If you spell on a job application like you spell on here your application will be round-filed instantly.
