Am I the only one bothered by the change of glass color at the bottom?

It looks bad. The top floor too, although it's difficult to see. 3737 Chestnut is guilty as well. Looks like cheap plastic to me.

Isn't that portion the parking garage? I don't even think it's actually glass. I'll agree it doesn't look great, but then again, above ground parking rarely does. I think if you judge it in that context, it becomes much more tolerable. I'd say the bottom portion of this building at least looks a lot better than most parking garages.

Overall I think this building is fine. I hope they step up their game for whatever is planned for the rittenhouse lot they own.

This quote is actually from the 1911 Walnut thread but I'm bringing it over to here:

I'm on the marketing dist list for 3601 Market. They're now offering $2,500 cash back for anyone signing a 12-month lease. It's been a steady increase as the months have gone by. I hope it fills up all right. I know it's one thing to have to jump start to 90+% occupancy versus filling turnover thereafter. Anyone else with insight know if this is par for the course when a building of this size first opens?

Yes. All buildings offer move-in specials at first to fill up the building. Once the building is filled they'll take away the promotions and specials and start pushing renewal rates.
