I also can't wait to see the color renderings.
I can't wait for the colors either. I want to see how everything will fit together.

Sweet. For a city of Sacramento's size, it should have taller buildings. I hope this gets built.

No, it's not definite at all. But it seems to get more legs everyday. I would put it's chances at about 50/50 right now and improving.

Certainly with the backing of the California Medical Association as well as having them as a tenant, it's looking pretty good....

Between the Capitol Grand and Epic, Sacramento should have two iconic "signature" towers...(Probably Epic more so than CGT), because Epic will have the kind of lines that people will remember...

It's been a while since I've done this stuff take it easy on me

I took the B/W Capitol Grand rendering and placed it at the proposed location.
The Sheraton Hotel to the right stands at 318 feet tall so this mock-up is still a
little small in size IMO... maybe the top of the picture is the right height.

Is Sacramento ready for something like this? Oh, Yeah!!!

OK... now this would be quite a dueo, EPIC & Capitol Grand.

Current view.

EPIC on the left and the Capitol Grand Tower on the right.

Any Sacramento forumers have any updates on either the CG Tower or Epic, as to where they're at in the planning or approval process???

Wow. Just wow.

Honestly, if the ~10 buildings that are shown on the 'Highrises' board get built - I think Sacramento may stand to be one of the major skylines in the USA (obviously not NYC, Chicago, but maybe on the top 20 list)?

Wow!!

I'm really liking these new renderings. This is exactly the type of signature tower Sacramento needs. And at 701 feet... wow...

Love the look of the top 1/4 of the building in these renderings.

I must have missed the new renderings.

I'll like it, but how is this progressing (in terms of actually being built?)
