Shangri-la getting up there...

I LOVE the slanted lot shangri-la is placed on.. it'll have such an interesting effect going down university! .. it'll be beyond epic...

i know !.. thats what happens when a tower isn't seen (either its at or below ground) for the longest time! you stop paying attention to it!... the podium levels will take extra long so i don't see a street wall forming till mid to the end of summer

Yeah true. The same could be said for Trump for the longest time too...seemed stuck on the first 5-7 levels, but now it's going up like crazy, and I'm sure Shangri-La will do the same thing...

Looks as though it's already upto the 4th or 5th floor in some parts of your pictures...this building is going to go up really fast I think...

mmm... i think its only up about 1.5/2 stories now... Its rising steadily though... the ground floors are a pain.. they take the longest.

Shangri-la by Davin at UT:

The University Ave. Streetwall looks amazing in this shot! especially since it slants inwards where shangri-la is! and its cool how MLS looks like its apart of the streetwall! ahh... that strip of university is one of my favourite streetwalls in toronto

crappy quality is because main camera was out of batteries, so i had to resort to my phone camera

wow 4 pages back, 214 meter skyscraper any city would gladly take... and its old news, and no updates for almost 2 full weeks.

I just love URBAN TORONTO, build it and they'll come.
