^ Since it serves a function, it does not add to the structural height.

I guess we usually talk about multi floor units instead of multi unit floors. Still, that duplex halfway up sounds ideal for me in this case. So long as it has a double height living room, a must for me.

As if I can afford it right now lmao.

We do. But that's because most towers aren't this skinny. It really is as thin as they say. The most you get is one per floor.

^ yeah that fog and sun combo the other day made for some epic sci fi type views -- it was really beautiful.

we were in hudson river park and the views of downtown and wtc had jaws dropping and people stopping in their tracks.

Merry Christmas? This is really bad.

Glass again falls from troubled Midtown skyscraper where spinning crane caused havoc

Quote:
No one was injured, though police shut down several blocks around the tower as firefighters, cops, Buildings Department inspectors and other emergency personnel descended on the scene. The Department of Buildings said the window had previously been damaged and contractors had plans to replace it.

This stinks. I'm reading gossip about the lack of union labour on the project being to blame. I doubt it's that simple.

They need to fix this before somebody gets minced.

There are some absolute gems in the comments of that video. "This hideous building" or "these buildings create shadow canyons in the streets".

It's always fun to humiliate them.
