MONTREAL | 628 St. Jacques | 120 M / 394 FT | 35 FLOORS

The launch of the project should start this fall, all we know is it's a 35-floor tower and the promoter is Broccolini, who is responsible for the gem known as L'Avenue

Why the cantilever? It seems the building would be more graceful without it.

Looks awesome - can't wait to see that getting built. One of the last pieces of the puzzle to complete in and around Victoria Square. But I have a lot of difficulty believing they are going to rebuild the heritage building at the corner in the way it is shown in the rendering, after the city allowed the property owners/developers to demolish it (aside from the St. Jacques Street façade which is now held in place by mere scaffolding).

This building will have a new neighbor as National Bank of Canada just announced construction of its new 1M sq ft head office nearby.

Glad to see some Montreal updates making it back into this forum! This one turned out just as advertised. Nothing to write home about, but quality materials and decent massing with a nod to it's more neo-classical roots. Would take a few of these in LA any day.
